When I began the inner work with the Mirror Exercise that Jeff and Shaleia taught, I initially experienced great improvement in all areas of my life. Things got better with Josh, and my life purpose blossomed as I watched Twin Flame Ascension School and Life Purpose Class. Their work is 100% effective.

Then Josh and my Union began to feel bad and out of harmony. It wasn't that the teachings weren't effective. It was me not using them properly. This was only because there were some things that I didn't want to accept as him showing me. I didn't want to accept Josh was showing me what was out of alignment with love within myself. In other words, Josh was showing me where I wasn't having a loving relationship with God within myself.

In some of these places, I continued to point the finger at him. It's his fault, and I'm not going to put up with this treatment. But I didn't want to look at the fact he was only showing me what I was doing to myself within myself.

Well, guess what. Nothing shifted when I wasn't doing the work I needed to do. I experienced great contrast. And, even though I experienced the contrast which felt greatly uncomfortable, it in itself was God's blessing because it guided me to make a new choice. God was communicating with me, "My Way Is Better. Follow what I have instructed you to do through your teachers, Jeff and Shaleia." I desired joy and I chose it instead of the bad feeling contrast.

I chose to surrender all the resistance and the fight I was putting up. I chose humility. Most of all, I chose what was logical. What is in Jeff and Shaleia's book about your Twin Flame mirroring things to you is logical. It makes sense and it is the only thing that makes sense on this journey. Have you tried it? Guess what happened next for me when I did this work?

I chose to Mirror Exercise all the things Josh was showing me. I chose to take responsibility for places inside of me where I was choosing separation, where I was hurt and angry, where Josh was showing me that I desired freedom, and what that really means - being with God, not separate from Him. Josh showed me my body was out of balance. Josh showed me I needed place. I needed care, love and attention. I needed to be understood.

And then, we are having a loving relationship. A relationship in which there is authentic, vulnerable communication. He expresses wanting to go deeper with me, and that never happened before. Ever. We're a couple in a committed relationship building together. We have bricks to lay, but now, I'm very secure in this path.

I am excited and delighted when I get to use the Mirror Exercise to heal. The healing feels good. I get to that place of surrender and relief much swifter now because I'm choosing to let go of resistance to Love and to God, and to my Teachers whom God gave me.

You can choose the path of resistance which gets you nowhere, or you can choose the path of Truth, and surrendering to the joy of getting to have actual progress within and without on your Twin Flame journey by surrendering to your Twin Flame being your Divine Mirror. When you do that, commit to the support you need to walk the path.
